Salsa & Merengue nights at the stunning art deco Grand Hall, inside District 1881. Salsa Paul leads you through the basics and beyond in an intimate, welcoming space with a built-in bar and great sound.

Level 1 Salsa — Thursday evenings (limited to 16 people)
Thursdays Aug 20 & 27 · 7:00–8:00 PM · Chilliwack, BC
A four-week beginners' course, capped at 16 people so I get to everyone every week. We start from zero — the basic step, the lead's and follow's turns, then the cross body lead, which is the move that turns steps into actual dancing. By week four you can social dance.
- Absolute beginners — no experience, no partner needed
- $40 holds one of the 16 spots for all four weeks, or $20 to try a single class first
- Start any week — every class opens with ten minutes on the basic step
- Book ahead — no door sales, so grab a spot online first
- Doors 6:45 PM, we dance 7:00–8:00 PM, out by 8:15 PM
- Outdoors at the labyrinth — covered backup if it rains
